Sintel uses the latest technology & machines to personalize and encode cheques. These are high volume producing, state of the art machines. We have a 24 hour working program and dedicated staff, which facilitates the ability to achieve a 48 hour turnaround time. The MICR quality is randomly checked using MICR qualifier GTX and reading records are generated and filed as proof of quality control.

We have registers in place to monitor each process and each process has a dual control. All entries into the cheque division are accessed through dual control. All the strong rooms are fitted with smoke detectors, motion detectors, cameras as well as vibration detectors embedded within the walls. Access is only permitted though biometric and card readers. All staff entering and leaving are also registered and a thorough body search carried out.

The MICR quality is randomly checked using MICR qualifier GTX and reading records are generated and filed as proof of quality control. Any faulty document returned or rejected is destroyed under dual control, with records, and a destruction certificate is issued to the bank.
